Bean Bag Care Taking care of your ADORA Bean Bag not only keeps it looking like new, but it also extends the life span of your favourite seat. Our bean bags are made with heavy duty Suntek Performance Fabrics which are waterproof and sun & mildew resistant. They can be used on your decking or by the pool, but not in the pool! Only Palma pool bags can be used in swimming pools as they are made of Suntek Airmesh which allows for water to drain quickly from the bean bags and for the beans inside to dry. Before use, we recommend giving the bean bag a light spray with Scotch Gard Fabric & Upholstery Protector to repel spills/stains. Keep the bean bags on a smooth surface such as tiles, carpets or wooden floors. Do not place bean bags on rough surfaces such as pebbled concrete. Avoid sitting on the bean bag while wearing clothes with sharp metal edges as this could damage the fabric. Whilst our bean bags have been sewn together with multiple rows of strong stitching, they are not jumping pillows. Therefore, do not let children jump on bean bags, as the seams can burst. Our outdoor bean bags have been made with Suntek grade 5 sun resistant fabrics. However, the Australian sun is relentless and we advise to put the bean bags in the shade or under a cover when not in use. This will keep the colours bright for longer. We strongly recommend not to leave the bean bag in an enclosed or damp area for a long period of time. Keep away from flames. Cleaning instructions ADORA Bean Bags are easy to care for, just use warm water and a mild detergent (liquid dish soap) on a cloth to remove a stain of the bean bag. Do not use bleach. For stubborn marks, try specialty cleaners made for cleaning car seats or carpets. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach, soak, wring, iron or dry clean any Adora Bean bag. Do not immerse the bean bag in water. If your bean bag is covered in dust, just give it a quick hose off and let it dry thoroughly before use. If you bought a dog bed, just use the vacuum cleaner to remove any hairs and hose it off regularly. Let it dry thoroughly before use. Please note: Take special care when using sun screen. Treat your bean bag just like any other piece of furniture. Do not sit directly on the bean bag while covered in sunscreen, this might leave an oily stain which is hard to remove. Use a towel over the bean bag instead. After swimming, hose yourself off before sitting on the bean bag as chlorine & salt might leave marks on your favourite bean bag.
